The Equal Rights and Opportunity Committee is committed to advocating for the rights of all union members, with a focus on ensuring the inclusion and representation of equity-deserving groups. These include individuals who identify as persons with disabilities, women, gender-diverse individuals, Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (2SLGBTQI+), Indigenous, racialized, and young members (30 years old and under).
